I started getting into self-help books a few years ago when I was feeling stuck in my personal growth. I heard a few people talking about this book called The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck on Instagram and like most people, the title really drew me in. As someone with crippling perfectionism, this book felt practically made for someone like me. I can honestly say it changed my life. Not just the particular book itself, but the way books open up a whole new perspective. Bookshelves of the 21st century are stuffed with authors intended to help each and every one of us with their insights, knowledge, or research results. They force you to see things in a new light, often providing a lot of clarity that we’re all searching for.
